This means that our wins thuis season with this line has almost doubled!
They represent 58,5% of our winners in the 2012 season. They have also produced a list of ACE Pigeons.

As we have invested heavily in the World Famous De Rauw Sablon/M. Aelbrecht strain, we decided to make an appointed via PIPA to visit Frans Sablon & M. Aelbrecht, the 2  strainmakers in person. What a privilege it was to receive tips on mating, line breeding strategies to follow, etc. Wonder full people with great pigeons!!

This strain’s popularity all over the world cannot be ignored. If their popularity can be measured to the current prices being obtained worldwide by this strain then they surely are, THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER pigeons in the world today.

When we purchased 4 direct children of the Famous BAK 17 Couple for an average price of R100 000 each, we never knew how cheap we actually got them for................

A few months ago 2 full brothers of the above were sold for E74 000 and E 44 200 each............AND THEN...

The total auction of A. Verbesselt has sent shock waves through the pigeon fraternity with prices of E110 000 for direct children of the Famous BAK 17 Couple. He broke at that time all internet records with a total of E1 290 000, 202 pigeons.

One of our Star Breeder’s, “GOLDEN CARELLI” and his sister “MISS SARAH” are full brother and sister to “KING”, Star breeder of A. Verbesselt. “KING” was at E 36 000, and GOLDEN CARELLI’S Sire, B4373754/07, Son BAK 17 for E110 000 and their dam “MISS JOICE” for E62 400 respectively!!!

Thank goodness we were able to obtain 18 direct A. Verbesselt’s in Belgium 2010, and can make them available to the South African Market.

We are doing fantastic line breeding this season to the magnificent BAK 17 Couple, with GOLDEN CARELLI mated to a direct daughter of BAK 17, etc.

We also imported children bred from a full brother to “THE MAX”

As the strain keepers of, as well as the latest new strain makers, of the Famous Hawk Ace Pigeon River Loft & GOLD MEDAL winning line, Out of Africa Lofts has learnt a few valuable lessons.

The shortest, road to success in pigeon racing from our own point of view, lies in purchasing as close to possible the Super Breeders and Super Racers, or at least their full brothers and sisters, or children from these performing pigeons. The purchase of the Tom Lock R100 000 and R80 000 Super Pairs immediately caused a bit of a stir in the pigeon sport in S.A......... Fortunately faith pulled through and children and grandchildren from these 2 pairs produced performance generation to generation in the form of Car Winners, Union, Federation & GRPA Championship winners, Sales race winners, and more recently the following achievements of this SUPER FAMILY:
They have not only dominated in our own lofts, but in many other lofts all over South Africa.

In the search of another superior bloodline to cross with our GOLD MEDAL family, we decided on introducing the

De Rauw Sablon / M. Aelbrecht Strain into our stock lofts.

We found the 2 similarities between our GOLD MEDAL TOM LOCK FAMILY and the DERAUW SABLON / M. AELBRECHT strain that we were searching for........

1. PERFORMANCE!
2. PASSING ON THE WINNING GENETICS!

Bred down from a GOLDEN THREAD, the DREAM COUPLE, as well as numerous other SUPER PAIRS, and SUPER BREEDERS.

This decision was not taken lightly. We first studied the lineage/pedigrees of this strain to the last detail. We were looking for generation upon generation of National winners and Ace Birds in their pedigrees, as well as a definite SUPER PAIR where all these fantastic results evolved from.

We did find the SUPER PAIR in the form of the “DREAM COUPLE” –Albert x Paula-The “GOLDEN THREAD”.

Not only did we find one Super pair, but, like our own GOLD MEDAL FAMILY, we found various SUPER PAIRS. To name a few:
*             Famous BAK 17 Couple
*             Marseille x Het Fijn Blauw
*             Smallen Pair-Parents to Lucky 848, “Smallen”, SuperBreeder 970, 118, etc.
*             ETC.

Out of Africa has once again decided to purchase as close to possible to the various SUPER PAIR’S winning genetics, of the Super Racers and Super Breeders of this strain themselves, paying small fortunes along the way for the proven Breeders. For example

R100 000 lately for a direct SON BAK 17 COUPLE,Super Breeder in Belgium, breeding multiple winners and MANY placed birds in the first 5.

And even more recently, R150 000 for a Direct Super Breeder Daughter of the "MARSEILLE X HET FIJN BLAUW PAIR" themselves.

And again Gys Louw’s NR 1 STOCK COCK, a grandson of BAK 17, also related to the sire of our 3^rd NATIONAL ACE BIRD- SANPO BRONZ MEDAL WINNER LONG DISTANCE 2011

Our vision of the past has worked again!

The imported DE RAUW SABLON/M. AELBRECHT strain immediately showed their class and bred our first Ace Bird as wel as SANPO BRONZ MEDAL WINNER LONG DISTANCE 2011

We believe in this "TYPE" of pigeon. They possess certain qualities we look for in a top performing strain, generation after generation, even after applying some degree of line and inbreeding, they just get better!!

No one can guarantee that all birds bred for stock will breed winners, but we do guarantee that we only purchase the best pigeons available in the market, and breed from the best in our lofts for potential buyers.
