We have to go back in time to 1st May 1998 when the Peter Schoeman & Dave Jacobson Total Dispersal Sale was held.
At the time I could not afford to own offspring from “Spritzy” for me it was just a distant dream.
Lucky for me a fancier by the name of Brian Paulsen attended the sale and by the end of day he had spent a whopping R19.000 (1998).

As luck would have it an additional “Spritzy” son, known as the “Andre Mills VPU Cock” was bought by the late Connie Lombard from Andre Mills who bought “Spritzy” on the 1998 sale.
This cock was a son of “Spritzy” to a Christiaen’s cock
When Connie past away Brian bought the cock to add to the collection.
The above cocks were bred to the best hens Brian could find and only the best were retained for stock.
“Golden Eggs” full sister to “Spritzy” were bought for R12000 on Johan Schmidt’s sale!
Also a daughter to “Spritzy” called “Avril” when the late Peter Schoemans race team was sold at James Jennings’s place.
At some stage “Golden Eggs” went to Pretoria and was mated to her son 143/02 only 1 egg hatched a cock bird with ring no”1500’.
In 2011 Brian bought Ch Hen 09 05651she is a GRPA Union winner from Middelburg 700km her grand father ZA 238-04 a son of “1500” was sold for R22000 on the same sale !
A second hen was bought Ch W/f 06 7784 she won 2nd Fed. 2008 and 1st Fed 2009 from Drie Susters 800km on the day(12 Hrs 13min).
Her father ZA 12475 is also a son of “1500” the cock inbred to “Golden Eggs” !
I had pestered Brian for some time to obtain some of his Spritzy birds.
In January 2012 Brian gave in and accept for a few birds I bought out his entire stock which included his much treasured Spritzy family.
On Corrie Naude’s sale 1st May 2012 I purchased lot 53 “Klein Corrie” a Spritzy off spring and super racer.
