We have received the first batch of 30 pigeons to be auctioned by Norman Phillips.

These pigeons are of top quality, and no wonder Norman was a highly successful competitor in his Club, Combine and Union for many years.
We have handled each one of the birds on offer, and can truly say that Norman Phillips is a selector of top class pigeons.

I stopped racing at the end of 2011 & then resumed again in 2013 in partnership with Larry Booth where we came 2nd in the Border Homing Union.
Larry informed me 3 weeks ago that he has to move house because of Business commitments so I have decided to stop racing as we raced from his premises.
I don’t have the time to race pigeons on my own because of sporting commitments. I will be keeping a few 2012 & 2013 birds to breed babies for One Loft Races.
All my Stock Birds will be sold.

During my Racing career I have been Club, East London Combine & Border Homing Union Champion.
I have won every race point that we have raced be it from the north, east or west. I have won the Short, Middle & Long distances in the Club, Combine & Union.
My pigeons have won with velocities ranging from 1000 mpm to 2000 mpm.

I won the Border Loft Race in 2011 (overnight) winning R50 000 & have won more Sale races on the Border than any other fancier.

My family of pigeons goes back to my late father who acquired them from Frans Fouche, Vic Furstenburg & Malcolm McKenzie. I have crossed these birds with pigeons from Dr Gavin Rous, Pottie Potgieter, Roland Bouwer, Johan Schmidt and my good friend Mike Engelbrecht.

Rustenburg winner (815km) bred out of a pair of birds from Chris Marais.

B/Bar Hen SA 215841/81 (Kay)
I obtained this Putterie hen from the late Tommy Featherstone. Her sire was a De Wet cock bred out of the Britstown Cock & Lazy Bones.

B/Check Hen 179158/91 (Karen)
I bought this 6 x winner hen from the late Pottie Potgieter.Bred out of a 3 x winning daughter of the Douglas Cock & Valinde hen. Her son bred the bird that came 7th Sun City Main Race for Danie Barnard.

We believe that the quality of these pigeons are very high and that they will make a positive impact in your stock loft
