THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Remain positive no matter how many times people try to get you down. Those who are blind to your efforts and constantly see your flaws are often blind to their own flaws because they have made a career of observing the lives of others. They do this until reaching a point of knowing the next person better than that person knows himself. According to Imam Haddad in his work, "Foundations of knowledge and wisdom", occupying yourself with observing the lives of others simply yields no benefit and wastes time and energy. The reason, as he states, is because the very people you are constantly observing, are far too busy with themselves and have little time in their busy lives to be occupied with you.
